Researchers identified that viewers spent 2.6 seconds before focusing on a particular section. They found viewers spending 6.48 seconds in watching logo, 6.44 seconds in navigation, 6 seconds in finding search boxes, 5.59 seconds on content, 5.94 seconds on images, etc.
However, researchers noted that colors play key role in leaving good impressions on viewers. Participants were drawn to pleasant, attractive colors and easy-to-read text. Additionally viewers wanted to see appropriate and favorable images on a website. Researchers warned that irrelevant images can cause unfavorable response and distraction from a website.
