There are 78.2 million pet dogs in USA and 5.9 million in Canada. Of all households, 39% have at the least one dog. And out of this 39%, 60% have 1 dog, 28% have 2 dogs and 16% have 3 or more dogs. The top rated breeds are Labrador Retrievers , German Shepherd, Beagles and Golden Retrievers.
And love for dogs is so much for dog owners that 14% of owners have a Facebook page for their pet.
