Meet TREC's qualifications for honesty, trustworthiness, and integrity by submitting fingerprints and passing a background check.
Complete six courses for a total of 180 credit hours from an approved and accredited real estate school.
After taking your courses, you must pass the pre-license course final exam
Apply for a license online at TREC.com and pay your licensing fee
Schedule your exam at a Pearson Vue testing center and pass the state licensing exam with a score of 70% or higher
After receiving your license, you will need to complete 90 hours of Post-License SAE Courses in your first license renewal cycle. This will allow you to become a licensed real estate agent in Texas and continue renewing every 2 years.
