It is always fun watching your loved ones open the presents from under the tree and this has almost become a custom in Britain. But did you know that this year almost 24% of the British will be spending more than what they spent last year on gifts although 36% will be spending just the same.
It has also been surprisingly found that 3% of the Brits do not celebrate Christmas at all.
So where is your money actually spent? Even though 48% of the Brits fret about all the cost of Christmas this year, it has been found that they, on an average spend about £250 on gifts, £125 on food, £75 on entertainment and £25 on cards and decorations. Also, in order to save money on gifting, 29% of the brits will gift their loved ones with handmade Do-It-Yourself items.
