History Of Hair Removal

01 hair-raising-tale

In most cultures of the world, women prefer being body hair-free and this practice is as ancient as history itself.

This practice was highly prevalent among the ancient Egyptians, the ancient Romans and Greeks as well as in the Elizabethan times. In the 16th century, women who had too much facial or body hair were considered ugly while in native America, various types of sea shells like clams were used to remove the unwanted hair from the body even if doing so might be uncomfortable and even painful at certain instances.

In recent times, there have been developed various techniques through which body hair can be removed with creams as well as laser technologies.
