In South Africa, the ratio of male entrepreneurs is more when compared to females of which 60 % males are inspired to start business due to perceived opportunities and 40% males start the venture to meet their requirements.
Mostly males aged between 35 – 44 years are the largest contributors when it comes to entrepreneurship. More than 16.9% graduated youth in South Africa look for job rather than starting their own business. The women involvement is entrepreneurship has raised to 46% however it is less in contrast to males ratio. Entrepreneurs here must execute six procedures and require 19 days to start a new business.
