It has been a century since the first Ford car rolled out of its factory in 1908. The T-model was the first mass produced car ever.
This was followed by the A,B, C, Thunderbird and the Mustang models. Fiesta, Escort and the Victoria models were introduced in the later part of the 20th century to fight the fuel crisis.
In the millennium, with the fuel crisis continuing unabated, Ford introduced more fuel efficient cars with - Fusion hybrid and Focus Electric. More fuel efficient models are still under production.
Ford's foray into the electric car segment has seen the launch of its newest model Ford Focus E. Compared to many others in its genre, this car gives a mileage of 76 miles for a single charge of 4 hours. The superfast chargers are being incorporated to make the model provide better performance.
