Recycling of aluminum products can save 100,000 Gwh of electrical energy and reduces the carbon dioxide content in the air by 90,000,000 tonnes. Reports say that energy saved in the process of recycling one aluminum tin can be used to run the television for more than 3 hours.
Report say that 50% of aluminum cans that we use in present days are recycled previously and since 1880 more than 90 million tonnes of aluminum was recycled. It is estimated that an average house hold user will make use of 208 aluminum cans every year. The price of aluminum is very high which is recycled and collected at the kerbside.
