From jazz to sports to deep pan pizza to being the windy city of America, Chicago has all that makes it both famous and quite infamous too. It might be infamous for quite a lot of things, but what makes the city a Mecca of the Midwest is it rich historical timeline and its various cultural milestones.
One of the earliest tragedies that struck Chicago putting a black mark infront of it names was the Great Chicago Fire of 1871 that killed hundreds of citizens and burned the city in down to embers that could not be doused for close to three days.
It seems that Chicago has the curse of being torched down again and again since another fire broke out not 30 years later, in the Iroquois Theatre killing more than 600 people in a fire that raged for hours at an end.
