Exxon Mobil is at the top of the list of the richest companies of the world and is a part of the oil and gas industry. This company, with its headquarters in Irving, Texas, United States, has revenue of $502.3 billion. The second richest firm is stated to be Royal Dutch Shell which too is an oil and gas industry and has a revenue generation of 492 billion dollars.
Another really rich company for the year 2013 is the retailing chain Walmart with the stated revenue being 464 billion dollars. British Petroleum, Vitol, Sinopec and Chevron are also included in the list of top richest companies with their revenues being $410 billion, $320.2 billion, $290.5 billion and $270.1 billion dollars respectively. Toyota and Apple are also in the top ten richest companies.
