Since the pandemic started in 2020, the average values of homes in the United States have definitely soared. In fact, from January 2020 through July 2022 alone, the average value of a home in the United States saw a 41.45% increase, jumping from an average value of $251,000 to an average value of $355,000. Using data from Zillow's Home Value Index for January 2020 through July 2022, the team at Decorative Ceiling Tiles have published this new infographic that looks at the U.S. cities where typical home prices rose the most since the start of the pandemic. According to the research and data, it was found that the five cities were typical home values increased the most were Cape Coral FL (+85.96%), Round Rock TX (+80.94%), St. Petersburg FL (+76.92%), Port St. Lucie FL (+72.88%), and Clearwater FL (+71.09%). In Odessa, Texas, things were much different, as the average home value actually decreased by 1.98% during this time.
