During the 2022 fiscal year alone, which stretched from September 26, 2021 through September 24, 2022, Apple was the most profitable company in the United States, with $94.68 billion in profits generated. Only two other companies in the United States saw more than $75 billion in profit during this time, with those being Berkshire Hathaway with $89.80 billion in profit and Alphabet with $76.03 billion in profit. This was all determined in this new study and infographic which was done by the research team at Cloud Peak Law Group, which looks at the most profitable company in every industry. The top ten list of the most profitable companies in the United States also includes ninth-ranked ExxonMobil, which was actually the most profitable energy company in the country during that time, bringing in $23.04 billion in profit during that fiscal year. It was an amazing turnaround for a company that had lost $22 billion during the previous year.
