What Happens When You Quit Smoking

stop-smoking-time - Copy

Almost all cigarette packets carry the warning that smoking is injurious to one's health but there is rarely anyone among the smokers who really heed the warning. But any one who does would of course know about how quick the changes start for the good.

It starts with healing your heart whereby within the first 20 minutes, the performance of the heart is restored and the blood pressure is normalized. After the first 8 hours without a smoke, the level of the oxygen in the blood gets normalized and in about 2 day's time, an ex-smoker's perceptions of smell and taste gets significantly improved.
