Think your job is safe? You may be wrong! A recent study done by YourLawyer.com shows us the top 25 most dangerous and deadly jobs in the United States as well as the safest. Some of the obvious deadly occupations such as loggers, fishermen, aircraft pilots, roofers, and other construction jobs make the list but some other not so obvious professions such as truck drivers, mechanics and even athletes have landed on the list of deadly jobs.
The list of safest jobs consists of a lot of occupations that are typically inside of office buildings or low impact such as computer occupations, nursing and medical jobs, education, retail, janitorial work and so on. Another thing we found interesting about this infographic is that it also reveals how each recorded death occurred for each profession. A notable tidbit is the fact that almost all cashier deaths were attributed to violence from other people. That's a scary thought! See below for more and let us know where your job falls on the list.
