Women all around the world, considered as the second sex, the inferior gender, is a ready-made target of violence, be it in the Europe or in Africa. But in Asia, the percentage of women abuse reports are higher than anywhere in the world with almost 45% of the rape cases going unreported.
Pakistani women are no exceptions in this case either. there has been cases where teenage girls are subjected to abuse merely because they have stood up against these atrocities or because they belong to the minority groups. Forced conversion into Islam, false charges of blasphemy reported against them, Pakistani women have to face it all.
Rawalpindi and Lahore seem to be the hub of these attacks with more than 10% of the attacks in Rawalpindi and 8% in Lahore being reported.
