Across the year, hundreds of thousands of cars are stolen in US and less than two-thirds of owners ever see their vehicle again.Due to which $4.5 billion is lost nationwide. It has been noted that 9 out of 10 of auto theft are in California and Washington State.
The vehicles which were most stolen are Honda Accord being no. 1 and Honda Civic in the next position. Incidentally, the months when the vehicle theft were more are July and August. And believe it or not, 36% of vehicle owners do not take measures to safeguard their vehicles against theft.
