The UK’s search engine marketing report is provided by Nielson for GroupM. According to the report, 28 million people performed 1.4 billion search queries during June 2011. Searchers used 90 encyclopedias.
CTR (click-through rate) is the percentage of impressions that resulted in a click. The highest CTRs for positions one, two, and three found in Airlines, Broadcast Media, and Auto Manufactures respectively.
While 94% of searches were ended up with nature results being clicked, only 6% of searches were paid searchers. Google was remained as the leader with 91% of success rate for successful searches. However, Bing gained 76% of success rate.
