Top Twitter Trends

Trends change in each season.During 2011, What the Trend- a HootSuite media company analyzed 500,000 trends appeared on Twitter to determine the top trending topics.

Among the top 15 trending brands, Twitter with 48,057 points ranked 1^st position, followed by Google with 19,232 points grabbed 2^nd place. FaceBook and Apple secured 3^rd and 4^th places respectively.

At the same time, among top 10 trending topics, Justin Bieber holds 1^st rank, and soccer/football sport achieved 2^nd place.

In the top 10 hashtag segment, #100 facts about me got 1^st rank. And 2^nd and 3^rd rank goes to #2010memories and #dontunderstand why respectively. Steve Jobs stood in the top position for the top 10 memorium category. Christmas wins 1^st rank in the top 10 holiday trending section.
