You may be surprised to see how high the average monthly bill is even for the state’s that have the lowest electricity prices.
This infographic also takes a closer look at the top ten most and least expensive electricity providers in the country, as well as the counties that they serve. Surprisingly seven out of the ten least expensive providers are located in New York, which has been nicknamed the “Vampire State” for its high taxes and costs.
