The success of retail in present times depends hugely on the tech and the tools that are used to ensnare the individual consumer. It has been found that previously, Walmart actually drove 33% of the other retailers to cut from its base cost whereas in present times, Amazon has been found to be forcing only 15-20% to cut their cost base.
It is also suspected that in the next 10 years Hispanics would actually double their retail spending while the Millennials would account for one-third of the retail spending. Since 8% of all retail sales come from e-commerce channels, 15% of all retail sales are suspected to be completed through mobile devices.
