The Process Of Learning Throughout History

03 S416-ActiveLearn-Go-infographic-FINAL

Knowledge has always been something that man has wanted to pass on, be it int he form of songs, folktales or even cave paintings. The urge to teach what he might know to his next generations, saw man inventing the first hieroglyphics in 3400 BC.

The Greek alphabet that came in around 500 BC was the first script to be written from left to right But it took almost the script 115 years in being institutionally adopted and that was when we see Plato establishing his Academy for learning in Athens in around 385 BC.

Had it not been for man’s dire need to pass down knowledge from one generation to another, human would never have reached this age where learning methods and techniques have become so easy and teaching has take a whole new meaning with the mobile and internet technologies playing a crucial role.
