A lot of you conservative dressers think you have the world of suits and what to wear with them all figured out. But dressing conservatively can have its downfalls. For example, don’t be scared to get out of your comfort zone with a polka dot tie or pocket square. You may also want to try some socks that allow some of your individuality to creep out. You may also want to consider pairing said socks with shoes or dress boots that are out of your current comfort zone.
The basic idea is not to turn you from a conservative dresser into something you’re not — the idea is to take what you’re currently working with and add a splash of panache. Be who you are, but highlight some of the basic tenets of the conservative suit so people can see who’s inside that suit, and not just the suit itself.
