An orange has very less sugar content compared to a fruit cup, which also contains many other ingredients. Broccoli contains more amount of Vitamin C compared to a baked potato. Grilled chicken has no artificial trans fat, whereas fried chicken contains artificial trans fat. A whole-grain bagel has less saturated fat content when compared to a typical fruit muffin. Oatmeal is low in sugar, whereas a granola bar is rich in sugar and calories. One glass of skim milk contains less calories than flavored milk.

With this knowledge about healthy foods and what things need to be limited, you can prevent the occurrence of deadly diseases such as stroke, cancer, heart disease and type-2 diabetes. Obesity contributes to 112,000 deaths each year. On account of unhealthy lifestyle of this generation, their lifespan is said to lower, compared to their parents. Eat more greens and beans for better health.
