
A national survey has revealed that most of the internet users hold an account with different social networks and they even build connections to encourage social engagement. The age group of 23 to 35 years predominantly dominate other users on different social media websites.
From the adults who are on social networks, nearly 26.7% have joined a respective community group, 22.8% have joined the local sports league and a record of 52.5% of social networking users have become a member of religious group. With 79% of its users attending a meeting or taking part in rally, LinkedIn is the most politically engaged social networking website.
