Whenever we think of hills and mountains, we picture really huge and large mountains which spread over huge lengths and great heights. But our world is full of extremes and there is no shortage of really small mountains as well.
Some of these mountains are so small that they only extend over a height of a few meters. These small mountains are spread across the world and are well known for their small height and little widths. Here is a list of the smallest mountains in the world:
The smallest mountain in the world is Mount Wycheproof which is located in Wycheproof, Australia and has a height of only 43 meters. Diamond Head mountain in USA is 232 meters in height and is thus the second smallest mountain in the world followed by Suur Munamagi mountain located in Haanja, Estonia.
With a height of 321 meters, Vaalserberg Mountain in Netherlands is also one of the smallest mountains across the world.
Mount Kinka Mountain extends to a height of 329 meters and is located in Gifu, Japan. Even this is among the list of the smallest mountains in the world just like Loughrigg Fell, Diamond Hill, Storm King Mountain, Little Si in USA and Pu’u Moaulanui Mountain in Hawaii.
