Samsung Galaxy S4 and Sony Xperia Z are the two of the latest mobile handsets in the market and here’s a comparison between the two:
Samsung Galaxy S4 comes with a 4.99 inch super AMOLED touchscreen display which can provide a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels whereas Sony Xperia Z comes with a 5 inch TFT display screen with a resolution count of 1920x1080 pixels.
S4 works on the TouchWiz User Interface and is powered by the Android 5.0 operating system while on the other hand; Xperia Z is installed in with Android 4.1 OS and the Android UI. Both the devices support 3G, 4G and EDGE/2G but Sony Xperia Z is not equipped with AT&T Wireless, Sprint, and T-Mobile etc.
Samsung Galaxy S4 supports various sensors such as DLNA, FM receiver, GPS Navigation, Graphics accelerator, HD Playback, infrared blaster and Microphone while Sony Xperia Z lacks FM receiver, microphone and infrared blaster.
When it comes to the camera, both mobile phone have been fitted in with 13 MP rear end cameras and 2 MP front facing cameras but the negative point about Sony Xperia Z’s camera is that it does not support dual camera record and sound and shot features.
Even in terms of the battery, S4 wins hands down with a 2600 mAh Li ion battery which in comparison to the 2330 mAh battery of Xperia Z is better. The connectivity options supported by both devices include Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi, micro USB port, NFC, GPRS, EDGE, GPS and audio jack.
