Sachin after making his ODI debut against Pakistan on December 18, 1989 went on to play 452 ODI matches and score around 18,426 runs at a batting average of 44.83. On other hand, Brian Lara has entered International cricket on November 9, 1990 and played his 1st ODI match against Pakistan, before announcing his retirement; Lara has represented his country in 299 ODIs and scored 10,405 runs at an average of 40.48.
Statistically speaking, Sachin is bit ahead of Lara, but cricket experts admire both Sachin and Lara has the best batsman in the history of cricket.
