Prescription drugs such as Adderall are advised for children with attention deficit, so as to calm them down and increase their attention span. However, these days drugs such as this are being abused by normal children to stimulate their focus and memory.
They are used to be able to study through the night and focus well during the tests. They obtain them from their friends or from a doctor by faking ADD symptoms.
Many of the users are unaware that these drugs are restricted and have severe additive properties. Their abuse can lead to insomnia, depression, irregular heart beat and psychosis, on withdrawal.
