
Consumer reviews of a product or service influence customer behavior. Researches prove that product reviews grab the attention of potential customers than any other typical marketing technique. ZipReality carried out a survey on 2,500 online home buyers’ preferences and attitudes.
When tested the frequency of using reviews on sites like Yelp or Angie’s List, 38% of customers said they never used online reviews. But 34% of online home buyers stated not often. Only 10% of people depend on reviews very often.
However, the agent, who has excellent reviews posted by real customers, was contacted by 62% of customers. 65% of buyers are likely to be leaving reviews when offered excellent services. And 43% of respondents influenced by word of mouth to find out more using online reviews about an agent.
