Google play trying furious to beat the IOS, but the IOS still pertains as the number one. Untiring battle of the IOS and Google play is not going to end in the near future.
War between the IOS and Google play is on 3 fronts
First being Downloads, IOS have rooted itself in many parts of world, and with highest downloads in Asia region. according to the statistics provided downloads done by IOS in US is 29%, In china 18% , In Japan 7% and other parts of the world 47%. Downloads done by Google play in US is 35%, UK is 10%, Germany is 6 % and other parts of the world is 49%.
Second being Revenue IOS in US 42%, Japan 10%, UK 8% and rest of the world 40%. While Google play receives revenue from US 45%, UK 11%, Japan 23%, Russia 20% and rest of the world 30%.
Third being on fast growing countries IOS have Japan 22%, Russia 17%, US 13% and France 12%. Growing countries with Google play are Brazil 88%, Japan 22%, Russia 20% and US 19%. Google play has the highest revenue generation in Brazil.
But the battle is seem to won by the IOS as the Google play is not able to beat it soon.
