Post Traumatic Stress Disorder or PTSD is a condition that has been known to develop after a person has gone through immeasurable trauma or personal loss. This condition may last a few months at the least or may takes a person's whole life to get over with which is why, in recent time, it is fast reaching the levels of being a global epidemic.

In the past year alone, 259.2 Million people have been reported to have suffered from this condition while in the given year, over 3.5% of the US citizens alone are reported to be going through it.

60% of the women while 50% of the men have been found to have had suffered from some kind of a trauma atleast once in their lifetime, of which 20% of the women still show signs of PTSD while among men the percentage is about 8% of which 30% will suffer from this condition throughout their lives.
