A survey was laid by bestvendor.com, it states that more than 180 creative professionals were inquired about the design tools that they often use while making designs.For documents purpose, 52% said they use Google docs, 76% said they make use of Dropbox for storage purpose, for wireframing 37% use Omni Graffie and 22% have used Axure.
When asked about the tools used for visual design, 46% said they prefer Adobe photoshop and 20% used Adobe illustrator. To take notes, more than 75% have used EverNote tool and 33% individuals preferred text mate for taking down the text and 50% individuals used Final Cut Pro for editing videos.
Some emerging tools that can be useful for designers are LayerVault, Xscope, Dropmark, Gimmebar and Lookwork etc. the people who were involved in the survey were working for a company with size less than 100 people and 51% of survey was done in United States.
