How it differs from the regular play :
Play therapy is not simply taking a child to a playground and letting them loose. It involves professional therapist and proper strategic methods.
In play therapy, using the curative nature of theplay, play therapists make kids learn about themselves. They also assist children in expressing their problems and troubles when they are not able to verbally propagate them and help them resolve the issues by themselves.
The duration of the therapy:
Each session lasts about 30 minutes to an hour. But it may vary depending on the kid in concern. The sessions are usually held weekly. On an average, at least 20 sessions are required to solve the issues faced by a typical child in therapy. Some kid may recover faster or longer,depending entirely on their individual beings.
