1924 saw the first radio broadcast of the Olympics. In 1936 for the first time a live telecast of the games was made. In 1960 the worldwide broadcast of the Olympics events happened for the first time .
1996 was the first internet Olympics. 2008 Olympics in Beijing enabled people to view Olympics on their mobile phones. 2012 London Olympics is seeing the use of VOIP to conduct interviews and share information.
