Whether it’s a simple free cup of tea or an early finish on a Friday afternoon, in 2017 incentives have become an essential part of any office job. With just under 90% of employees receiving them, employers are constantly looking for new ways to keep their workforce satisfied and their staff retention rate as high as can be.
Andrews Sykes wanted to explore the matter of perks a little further by commissioning a national survey of 1,500 office workers across Britain. This questioned these employees about what they currently are getting from their employers, but more importantly what they want, and how getting these incentives could affect their morale, productivity and overall happiness whilst at work.
With 37% of participants admitting they would be more productive if offered perks, and 46% confessing they would be happier, this survey revealed how much these benefits really mean to employees…quite a lot indeed!
