According to a survey carried out in America for the year 2011, it was determined that more than 153.6 million individuals in America are engaged in some form of work and 14 million people are unemployed. This infographic depicts the information about top 5 jobs and salary associated with the jobs in America.

A study was conducted to find out the increasing gap between the salary of an CEO and the average worker in an organization. In the year 2005, the CEO of a company was drawing 262 times more salary than the average worker. And most of the companies paid salary to CEO which was more than federal tax paid by the company.

The mean wage of an American worker irrespective of the position that he holds is $ 44,410 per annum. The least common jobs where less number of individuals are employed include prosthodontists ( 660 employed) and private house cooks( 400 employed).
