The increased attachment with digital devices has mixed effects. We are obsessed with our mobile phones, Smartphones, notepads, etc. when a mobile phone is lost, you feel as if your lost your life.
In the U.S., Lookout, a mobile security company expects $30 billion phones are expected to be lost in this year. $7 billion worth of mobile phones are lost across the globe for every day. Most of the phones are lost during New Year and Christmas. Two of three phones are lost during 9a.m. to 2 a.m.
Lookout installed $2.5 billion worth of devices in 2011. All the devices are lost mostly in public spheres like restaurants, coffee shop, pizza, etc. including places like apartments.
