From 1980-90 the mobile phone experienced some amount of development. Motorola’s invention Zack Morris phone, weighing nearly two ponds, sold for $ 4,000. But during 1992-99 the device witnessed major improvement in appearance and features.
In 1992, the first message was sent via mobile phone. In 1998 Bluetooth hits the market. In 1999 Blackberry launched its first mobile set. In 2000, mobile with camera released by J-Phone. Few films depicted obsession with the mobile phones.
However, during 2000-11, Nokia mobile handsets become hot cakes especially Nokia 1100. In 2007, apple launched first iPhone with attracting features like touch screen and countless apps. In 2008, HTC released the first android phone into the market. In 2011 Google & Visa introduced online payments using mobile phones.
