Mega churches are charges that have an attendance rate of more than 2000 members per week and are mostly evangelical in nature. Mega churches in the US are growing at an alarming rate while small churches running out of business and closing down.
It has to be hard on the small churches that are regularly seeing their patrons ditch them in an effort to join a mega church congregation who are usually chided for using corporate means to gain economic growth.
