Mechanics of the Human Brain

Ever wondered how your brain works?

Scientists have used games to understand this aspect of the human brain. First game was to measure risk tolerance. In the game they found that the risk tolerance changed with age and gut instincts of a respondent.

Second was to test the patience as a factor of time. Most of the respondents preferred immediate gain even if it was 2 times as less than delayed gain. If the delay gap was shorter then they preferred to wait.

The last game was to test the trust of an investor towards his broker. An investor is more likely to trust the broker if he was fair in the first round of the game. With this model he could explain how financial frauds happen.
