
All human have two hemispheres in their brain, the left and the right. It has been found that the people who do their thinking from the left hemisphere of their brain is logical and focus on the facts while those who think through their right hemisphere are creative as well as emotional and enjoy creative storytelling.
All those who are into the advertising or the marketing arena also show similar differences in their work and from the ideas they come out with, it is quite easy to discern what kind of a thinker they are -- left or right.
While a left brained marketer would show the product with all its focal points concerning themselves on what the consumer needs, why they need it and also showing why the company he is marketing has a better product than the rest.
Quite unlike him, the right brained marketer would weave a story around the product and bring in elements of humor and surprise in order to make the product and the commercial memorable.
