The full form of LCD is Liquid Crystal Display and it is a flat electronic visual display that does not directly emit the light and uses the light modulating properties of the liquid crystals. LCD comes in screen sizes of 13 to 57 inches and has minimum thickness of 1 inches while LED comes in all screen sizes and have thickness less than one inch. Life span of LCD is around 50,000-100,000 hours while life of LED is around 100,000 hours. LCDs are cheaper while LEDs come with expensive price tags.
