The Isle of Man which is self-governed British government dependency holds the Time Travel Race every year. The race starts from Douglas and is held on public roads.
Charles R. Collier was the first ever winner of this race in 1907. The record of most number of victories is held by Joey Dunlop with 26 victories. The course on which this race takes place is 37.7 miles long which has more than 200 turns in every lap.
The downside is it has claimed more than 200 lives. Even then in this year over 30,000 visitors are supposed to descend in the island to watch this festival.
