In the developed nations the penetration happened very early in the day. Now it has almost reached a saturation point with the penetration in North America being the maximum at 77.4%. Oceania / Australia come next with a penetration of 61.3% followed by Europe at 58.4%.Therefore, their growth rate is lesser ranging from 150 to 350 %.
In the African nations, Middle East and Asia, technology reached much later and hence their growth rates are shooting ranging from 600 to 2300%.
Papua New Guniea is the least internet penetrated country at 2%. China tops the number of internet users with 420 Million users whereas Botswana has the least at 120,000 users.
