While the users spent 46 minutes a day in 2002, 4 hours are spent towards the internet in 2012. The total number of sites increased from 3 million in 2002 to 555 million in 2012. 95% of searching was performed using Internet Explorer in 2002.  Only 39% of searching is happening on the same browser.

For downloading a song it took 12.5 minutes in 2002, it takes just 18 seconds for the same in 2012. It took 16 seconds to load a page in 2002, but it takes only 6 seconds now. The first social networking site, Friendster attracted 3 million users but FaceBook, a world’ l leading social networking site has gained 900 millions users.
