The first holiday celebrated by Indians will be Id-e-milad which will be celebrated on January 25th. This holiday is followed by Republic Day on 26th January which is a national holiday in the country. Maha Shivratri falls on 10th of March and is considered as a big holiday in the Indian Sub continent. Holi shall fall on March 27 this year and is one of the most celebrated festivals in India. March 29 is the Good Friday and another holiday for Indians. The next holiday is on 24th April in the form of Mahavir Jayanthi. May Day is celebrated as a holiday in India on 1st May.
Buddha Purnima shall be observed as a holiday on 25th May followed by Id-Ul-Fitr which is on August 9. The Indian Independence day is celebrated on August 25 in India and is another big holiday for Indians followed by Krishna Janamasthmi on August 28. The other holidays are on September 9, October 2, October 13, October 16, November 3, November 14, November 17 and December 25 which is the last holiday in the form of Christmas day.
