The first agreement been Israel and Palestine, known as the Oslo Accords was signed in 1993, the first such agreement since 1948. The accord brought mutual recognition of the countries to one another whereby withdrawing the Israeli forces from the Palestinian soil and allowing the Palestinian government rule over Gaza as well as the West Bank.
The second accord signed in 1995, the Oslo II Accords further divided the West Bank into three parts Areas A,B and C and splitting the entire area into 167 enclaves as well as Area C thus putting it fully under Israel’s rule since 20% of its settlers are Israeli settlers.
