The evolution of the geek culture is quite a fascinating one to follow. The term geek has evolved from the 1900s till date into something that initially had a very different meaning to what it is meant to define in this century.Once a label that most people found derogatory and avoided at all costs, now the term geek is something to be proud of.
In the early 1900s it meant to define a man who was a either a simpleton or someone who basically excelled in cheating and deceiving others. But now the term geek is used to refer to a person who obsessively engages in computer-related activities or rather engages obsessively in any kind of hobby.
