Ah! Chocolate! Now who would not want to savour a taste of heaven for that is what chocolate tastes like. But do you really know how the chocolates bars that most would swoon on are made.
Well, first the beans are sieved, vacuumed and tested and once passing this test they are roasted in a steam of hot air, to develop the chocolate flavour once they dry. The shells are then crushed and the kernels separated which has a liquid formation and actually looks like gravel which is called liquor.
The cocoa butter is then removed and this chocolate is mixed with milk and sugar and then again evaporated so as to drain the moisture and turn the chocolate into crumbs. Flavours are then added and some amount of tempering is done after which they are filled in moulds and then wrapped in foil and packaged.
