The infographic combines the number of public bank holidays and the annual minimum leave allowance every country gives its workers. In the top spot was Iran with a whopping total of 48 days off, while in the bottom spot Micronesia workers are only given a measly 6 days holidays.
The US doesn't fare much better with workers only being given 10 public holidays and no provisions in place for employers to give their staff a minimum number of vacation days.
The infographic really highlights the major discrepancies in how workers around the world are rewarded with holiday allowance.
As airport transfer specialists Taxi2Aiport believe all workers should be given enough time off every year to explore the world and find time to relax. They produced this graphic to celebrate those countries who are doing it right and encouraging a good work/life balance for their workers, and to encourage those countries lagging behind to start offering their workers greater perks.
Everyone needs a holiday sometimes!
This infographic was produced by Taxi2Airport to find which countries around the world have the most, and the least, amount of time off work.
